Injury Boost For Liverpool As Star Player, Diaz Returns To Training Ahead Of Clash Against Man City

Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool team will resume back to club duty this weekend as they will be playing their 27th league game of the season away from home against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool who have been faced with series of Injury from some of their key players so far this season have received an injury boost ahead of their meeting with the reigning and defending Champion, Manchester City.

According to a report as posted today by Bleacher Report Football via their verified Facebook page, it was made known that Luis Diaz who has been out of action for a while now due to injury sustained is fully back to training ahead of the weekend game which is expected to be the clash of the Titans.

The 26 year old Colombian international and prolific dazzler has been a key figure in the squad paraded by the German tactician since he made his debut after his arrival at the Merseyside club from Portuguese Primeira Liga Champion, FC Porto in the January winter transfer window of the 2021/22 season.

This is really a good omen and positive development for the Reds going into the crucial game as they will be hoping to turn things around by securing the whole maximum three points, so as to boost their tally on the English Premier League table as they currently sit at the 6th spot with 42 points accrued.

Liverpool going into the game are seven points away from the top four race with Tottenham Hotspur sitting at the fourth place having a total of 49 points.

Luis Diaz with his return to the squad will be optimistic to pick up his impressive performance for the club from where he left off before his injury sustained.
