Man United Players Who could return to the squad vs Newcastle after missing the international Break

Ahead of his team’s Premier League match against Newcastle on Sunday, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is still awaiting a final decision on a number of important players.
Despite falling behind title contenders Manchester City and Arsenal, the injury-plagued Red Devils still have work to do if they want to secure third place this campaign.
Priority was given to cup tournaments before the international break, thus United has already missed two weeks of Premier League activity.
After their Carabao Cup victory last month, Ten Hag’s team was maintained in position for additional trophies with victories against Real Betis and Fulham.
It was crucial to beat Newcastle at Wembley, and Casemiro and Marcus Rashford’s goals in the opening half made it happen. This weekend’s rematch between the two sides at St. James’ Park is expected to be a blockbuster match with top-four implications.
Alejandro Garnacho, Donny van de Beek & Christian Eriksen are not eligible for selection, while Casemiro will not play because of a suspension. but below are the injured players who could return to the starting xi against the Magpies.
Marcus Rashford
Rashford has more Premier League goals than any other United player this season with 14 in 26 games. Hence, his recent injury versus Fulham raised serious concerns among the fans.
The 25-year-old, who was in excellent form, then withdrew from the England team for the Euro qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine. While Rashford is still being assessed, it is highly probable that he will play against the Magpies again after scoring against them at Wembley in February.
Raphael Varane
The Frenchman hasn’t played for United since March 12, when Southampton and United played to a scoreless draw at Old Trafford. Varane has shown to Ten Hag that he is a trustworthy and capable center-back option alongside Lisandro Martinez.
The 29-year-old is possibly going to play against Newcastle, just like Rashford.
Anthony Martial
Many fans had high expectations for Martial’s season, believing that after regaining his scoring touch in preseason, he would excel under Ten Hag. Yet a string of injuries has prevented him from progressing, with back, hip, and Achilles problems.
The gifted forward missed United’s FA Cup quarterfinal victory against Fulham prior to the break, but Ten Hag stated just before the game that his return had been discussed, implying that extra 2 weeks of rest and rehabilitation would have been plenty to get him back in the action.
