Tuchel plotting double Chelsea player swoop

Newly appointed Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel reportedly wants to recruit Chelsea stars Edouard Mendy and Mateo Kovacic, according to Calciomercato. Having signed a contract until 2025, the German tactician will be offered the chance to reshape the squad to his liking in the summer. It is thought that Tuchel has earmarked two key players that led him and the Blues to Champions League success in 2021, whose respective futures in west London remain up in the air.

Arsenal wants Madrid star

Mikel Arteta wants to sign Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz next summer who is currently on loan at AC Milan according to Todofichajes. Diaz is all set to return to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer as Real Madrid are keen on retaining his services but they could be tempted to let him leave if they get a proper offer from the Gunners.

 Northampton Town have signed defender David Norman on a contract to the end of the season. The 6ft 2in, 24 year old Canadian joins up with the Cobblers having began his career with Vancouver Whitecaps before playing ten games on loan to Scottish club Queen of the South. He later joined MLS side Inter Miami before joining Canadian Premier League side Cavalry where he played 48 times.
