Transfer News: Done Deals, Ten Hag To Be Offered New Man Utd Contract, Chelsea Keen On Manu Kone

Ten Hag to be offered new Man Utd contract
Erik ten Hag will be offered a new contract at Manchester United regardless of who takes over as the club’s owners. The Mirror claims the Old Trafford club are prepared to offer him improved terms less than a year after his appointment on a three-year deal.
Chelsea Keen On Manu Kone
Chelsea are interested in signing Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone in the summer transfer window, according to Caught Offside. The Bundesliga side are resigned to losing the Frenchman at the end of the season and have also received interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
De Zerbi: There is more to come from March
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi believes there is more to come from Solly March after handing the in-form winger a new contract. Sussex-born March has signed a new deal keeping him at his only club until 2026. The 28-year-old has scored seven goals this season, all of which have come after the World Cup break, including the winner against derby rivals Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
“It’s great news, he deserves this new contract,” De Zerbi said at his press conference ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final against Grimsby.
Hodgson in line for Crystal Palace return
Roy Hodgson is in line to make a surprising return to management with Crystal Palace, The Sun claims. Hodgson left Selhurst Park in 2021 and was replaced by current boss Patrick Vieira, but the club are considering making a change as the Eagles currently sit three points outside of the relegation zone. The ex-England manager has been sounded out about returning to the club and he is willing to go back until the end of the season.
