All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has cleared 11 out of the 16 local governments in the governorship election results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Results from the LGAs announced so far in Kwara:

In Yobe, Gov Buni Clears 8 LGs Announced By INEC:

Yobe State Governor and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mai Mala Buni has cleared eight local governments in the governorship election results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The collation of results of the governorship election held in the 17 local government areas of Yobe state on Saturday began at about 12:30 pm Sunday.

The Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has issued a controversial statement on social media during the governorship and state assembly elections conducted on Saturday.

MC Oluomo in a post on his Instagram account, referred to certain people as “Obidiots” as he asked them if they have realised that Lagos belongs to the Yoruba people.

Akinsanya, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also said the so-called “Obidiots” should be bearing the brunt of the consequences of the term ‘Lagos is no man’s land.’

APC Wins Two Polling Units Outside Benue Government House:

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lost the two Polling Units located outside the Benue State Government to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.

In the governorship result from the Government House Arts Threatre Polling Unit 011 as announced by the Presiding Officer, Bosede Benson, APC polled 130 votes while PDP scored 43 votes.

Also, at the Government House Protocol Polling Unit 022, the governorship result announced by the Presiding officer, Chindo Jamila, indicated that APC scored 36 votes while PDP polled 10 votes.
