Super Eagles Star, Odion Ighalo Nets A Classic Goal In His Team's Convincing 3-0 Home League Victory

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward maestro, Odion Jude Ighalo was astonishing yesterday for Saudi Professional Football League Champion Al-Hilal in their 19th league game of the current campaign at home against Al-Ettifaq at the MRSOOL Park in Riyadh.

The 33 year old Nigerian international and former Manchester United star was handed a starting role at the attacking line for his team following his outstanding performance in their previous game, and he was able to replicate another top notch delivery with his impactful minutes spent on the pitch of play.

Odion Jude Ighalo was a big threat for the host in the opposition box thereby created a couple of chances which got him directly involved in two of the three goals, courtesy of a goal and a brilliant assist.

The Nigerian star opened the scoring sheet for the host in the 15th minute of the game to make it one nil before he set up a brilliant assist for Mohamed Kanno to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

The host in the second half of the game were more dominating as they stepped up their game with some more physical, tactical and technical displays thereby got their lead extended in the 90th minute with a goal from Salem Al Dawsari which ended the game three goals to nil at full time.

Odion Ighalo with his great influx of influence in the game will be optimistic to keep the standard going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
