Rivers Guber Polls: 22 BVAS Machines Missing In Rivers State – Tonto Dikeh
It would be recalled that yesterday, the 18th of March, 2023, the state level election for the Governorship and the State House of Assembly were conducted in 28 different states across the country. It would also be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) introduced the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) as a very important part of the 2023 election.
However, in a recent post made by popular Nigerian actress Tonto Charity Dikeh, who is also the Rivers State deputy governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) recently revealed that 22 BVAS machine went missing in Rivers State during the election.
The 37 year old mother of one made this known in an Instagram post she made on her story. Below is a screenshot of the post.
Tonto Dikeh’s post is coming after a lot reports about several attacks on polling units in Rivers State and some people were allegedly killed by political thugs.
