APC Thugs Beat Up My Friend And Ask Him To Go To Anambra And Vote – Waje Alleges

It is no longer news that the 2023 Governorship election in Lagos state has been marled with ballot box snatching and voters suppression.

It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission has held the election across 28 states of the federation.

In Lagos state, there are three major candidates that are seeking for the post of the governor of the state. They include the Incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is running under the All Progressive Congress platform, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party as well as Jandor.

A popular Nigeria musician, Waje has taken to her social media page to lament how they were prevented from voting. According to her, the INEC officials moved their polling unit to an insecure environment.

Speaking further, she said one of her friends she went to vote with was attacked by a random thug who is loyal to APC. She Alleged that the thugs beat him up and asked him to go to Anambra and vote.

“They said my friend look like Igbo that he should go to Anambra and vote.”
