It Is Wrong To Conclude That LP Lost The Election In Akwa Ibom Based On Announced Results – Udoh

The Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State, Peter Udoh, has maintained that the results which was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, as the outcome of the Akwa Ibom State presidential and national assembly elections will be challenged at the court of law.
Peter Udoh insisted that it is wrong for anyone to say that the Labour Party lost the 2023 presidential election in Akwa Ibom State. Peter Udoh disclosed that as the election was ongoing, the Labour Party collated the results from all the local governments in the state and the results shows that the Labour Party was ahead of other parties.
Peter Udoh stated that he was surprised when INEC announced that PDP won the election in Akwa Ibom State. Peter Udoh insisted that the results which was announced by INEC was the opposite of the results which the Labour Party collated when the election was ongoing.
Peter Udoh also said that as soon as the results was announced, the Labour Party rejected the results. He went on to say that the state Chairman of the Labour Party in Akwa Ibom refused to sign the result which INEC announced.
