MUN 3 VS WHU 1: Alejandro Garnacho wins FA CUP man of the match award.
Man United knocked out West Ham United in the Fa Cup, thanks to Alejandro Garnacho’s 90th minute winner. The goal already secured Man United’s place, before Fred put the icing on the cake with a late third.
However, Alejandro Garnacho won the Fa Cup man of the match. After Wout Weghorst’s effort was blocked, the Argentine center forward positioned himself, and curled an unstoppable effort past West Ham United shot stopper. The striker has now scored 4 goals this season.
However, Alejandro Garnacho’s introduction made much difference. All attention turned to the young Argentine immediately he was introduced. His influence on the left wing freed Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst, and Fred. So, this means that Garnacho played a great role in Man United’s victory.
Man United were more direct, dominant and purposeful when the young forward is in controll of the ball. West Ham United struggled to cope with his directness, pace, and bribbling.
