Done deal: Rangers sign Todd Cantwell

Rangers have signed midfielder Todd Cantwell from Norwich City on what the Ibrox club say is “a long-term deal”. The 24-year-old, who is Michael Beale’s first signing as Rangers manager, came through the Norwich academy but was out of favour with new boss David Wagner. Cantwell made 129 appearances for the Canaries, including 45 games in the Premier League, and has had loan spells with Bournemouth and Fortuna Sittard.

Liverpool favourites to land Bellingham

Liverpool have emerged as frontrunners ahead of Manchester City to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham this summer. A report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg claims Jurgen Klopp is ‘pushing’ to bring the 19-year-old bLiverpool ‘favourites’ to land Bellinghamack to England in what is likely to be a club-record transfer. Bellingham is wanted by a host of clubs, including City, Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid, with Dortmund hoping to raise £130m from his sale after the England international turned down a double-your-money contract offer.

Bakayoko set to join Adana Demirspor

Tiemoue Bakayoko looks set to join Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Super Lig on a permanent deal, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira. He reports that Bakayoko’s loan with Milan will be terminated and Adana Demirspor will sign the midfielder from Chelsea for free on a contract until 2026. Chelsea will earn a percentage of any future sale.
