Celebrated musician, Wizkid, has joined fellow Nigerians calling for justice for the teenage girl, Tina, who was killed by a trigger-happy police officer in Lagos state.
On June 1, 2020, Wizkid called for justice for 16-year-old Tina by sharing an image of the girl with “Tina is all of us” and hashtag #JusticeForTina written on the image.
Like many other Nigerians, Wizkid is heartbroken by the death of the young girl and lamented about Nigeria Police killing the people they are supposed to be protecting.
“2020! Naija police still dey kill Nigerians!”, Wizkid captioned his post on Instagram, adding three emojis signifying heartbreak.
In a separate post on Twitter, the ‘Joro’ crooner took a jab at the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and President Donald Trump of the United States, calling them ‘clueless’ leaders.
Wizkid’s harsh reaction towards Trump is connected to the death of George Floyd who passed away after Police officer Derek Chauvin (now sacked) knelt on his (Floyd) neck.
According to Wizkid, “Buhari/Trump same person lol only difference be say one sabi use twitter pass the other. Clueless!”
