Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has told his fans not to change his title to ‘Odogwu’, but keep calling him ‘OBO’.
Davido said this after he shared a footage showing some of his fans referring to him as ‘Odogwu’, which means ‘Great Man’. He seems happy while they were hailing him, however not contented with the ‘Odogwu’ title.

Earlier this year, Burna Boy released a song tagged, ‘Odogwu’, saying that’s what the Igbos call him. The existing bad blood between Davido and Burna Boy may be connected to why Davido rejected to be called ‘Odogwu’ – a title Burna Boy already claimed.
Davido, in another post, corrected the chanting fans not to change his nickname, ‘OBO’ (Omo Baba Olowo that means Son of a Rich Man).
In his words;
“I like to go as OBO as it’s been for the last 10 years”
