2Face Idibia Snubs Davido, Realeases ‘Warriors’ Album
Features Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Tiwa Savage On ‘Warriors’ Album
One of the most decorated musicians in Africa, Innocent Idibia, popularly referred to as 2Face Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has released his highly expected seventh studio album, titled ‘Warriors’.
The new compilation of songs, ‘Warriors’, is 2Face Idibia’s follow-up album to his 2014 release, ‘The Ascension’, which boasts of positive reviews from music critics and pundits in the continent of Africa.
2Face Idibia, on ‘Warriors’, enlisted the services of new generations musicians like Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Olamide, Burna Boy and Peruzzi to connect more with the current style of music being listened to by his fans.
It is however important to state the obvious that 2Baba snubbed Davido, who is another respected musician in Nigeria. One would have thought Davido was going to make 2Face’s album since he featured his peers (Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Olamide), but he didn’t.
The album, ‘Warriors’ houses 13 tracks, and according to 2Baba, is to commemorate his 20 years on stage as a performing music artiste in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.
2Baba released the album under his record label – Hypertek Digital Limited today, February 28, 2020 and it was co-produced with his longtime friend and manager, Efe Omorogbe.
The tracks on the album are Warriors, We must Groove, Important, Carry Dey Go, Kitty Kat, Opo, Amaka, Love me Love me, Ginger, Target you, Oyi, I dey hear everything, and If no be you.
2Face Idibia is a singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, Humanitarian, and activist who is regarded as the most bankable musician in Nigeria.
