Rihanna and Drake may be one of the friendliest celebrity exes existing now. The two recently reunited at the Canadian rapper’s early birthday party and they were not awkward not all.
Instead, the two hung out and enjoyed the night together at the special gathering held by the “In My Feelings” hitmaker on Monday night, October 21.
According to E! News, the 32-year-old rap star invited his ex Rihanna and several members of his OVO crew to Poppy nightclub in Los Angeles. A source says, “Drake had a huge smile on his face and looked excited to see Rihanna when she arrived.”
“Rihanna made an appearance and stayed for several hours. She was with two girlfriends and was escorted to Drake’s table by security,” the source goes on dishing. “Her and Drake were talking for a while and were smiling and laughing. It seemed like a very pleasant interaction and they looked like they were having fun together as friends.”
Rihanna seemed to have a lot of fun at the party as the source shares, “Rihanna was dancing to the music and bobbing her head and seemed to be in a good mood. The whole vibe was very chill.” The Barbadian beauty also hung out with “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Lyrica Anderson as seen on the reality TV star’s Instagram Stories post.

The “Diamonds” hitmaker wore a loose oversized sweater, sparkling bottoms and stilettos, with her hair styled in curls and tied into a ponytail. She also sported a pair of round shades and big hoop earrings. As for Drake, he donned a black turtleneck with matching pants and dress shoes.
Drake reportedly had several bottles of Dom Perignon and Don Julio 1942 brought out to the table along with Hennessy. His crew also ordered McDonalds French fries and chicken nuggets for friends to enjoy. Meanwhile, DJ Premier and Balthazar Getty were in charge of the music for a majority of the night and they played hip-hop music.
Drake will be turning 33 on Thursday, October 24.
The reunion comes three years after the former couple broke up. Rihanna is currently dating Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.
Drake and Rihanna collaborated on several hits including “What’s My Name?,” “Too Good,” and “Work.” When asked whether they were working on another collaboration, RiRi recently told T magazine, “Not anytime soon, I don’t see it happening. Not on this album, that’s for sure.”
