Ghanaian singer and songwriter, drops the crisps visuals of her -assisted music, ‘’.

Amaarae has been hard working, releasing different musical projects over the years, however, her latest work of art featuring Nigeria’s very own, Wande Coal, caught our eyes and we can say to you that she keeps the track as simple and wonderful as she could.

Spend Some Time is a humble nod to the disco divas of the 70s; (ie. Donna Summer, Diana Ross) Featuring sensual solo vignettes (a la Donna Summer’s Love To Love You Baby) and a mercurial neon club scene where the ladies dance the night away.

The video brings together a group of women sharing their time and good energy with one another; They are enjoying themselves and abandoning the stresses of their everyday lives.

Though it is moody and warm in its visual aesthetic, Spend Some Time is also a light hearted and sexy take on friendship and intimacy. Produced by ØBED and Rvdical The Kid, the video was directed by David-Nicol Sey.

The track shares similarities with American rapper Drake’s popular hit song, ‘One Dance’, Anaraae, however,  focuses on Afrropop, melding drums and percussions to create an amazing track.

Check out the visuals below and ENJOY!
