Angered By Defeat, Cristiano Ronaldo Slams Man United

After a goalless first half Ronaldo gave Juventus the lead in the 65th minute with a well struck volley before Manchester United clawed their way to the game through a free kick by in the 86th minute with a Leonardo Bonucci own goal.

Despite his side suffering their first defeat of the season, Ronaldo was more worried with the tactics deployed by his former side as the Premier League giants recorded a much needed win.

In an interview with Viasport, Ronaldo was not satisfied with the result as he blamed luck and insisted that Manchester United could have suffered a very heavy defeat.

He said, “I was happy with the goal but we are disappointed because we should win the game easily, by three or four goals.

Ronaldo who moved to Juventus from was of the opinion that Jose Mourinho’s team did not merit the victory based on their performance.
