‘Timaya Housed Me When Banky W Kicked Me Out’- Skales
You can be grateful without dragging.. The same EME gave him his break tho…he wasn’t bringing in money it was a business decision
Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, who performs under the mononym Skales has finally confirmed rumours that he was kicked out of Banky W’s EME Records years ago.
Posting on his Twitter yesterday, the Shake Body crooner revealed that he was tossed out of the record label and having nowhere else to go, he crawled to Timaya who took him in and allowed him to stay in his pent house until he found his feet again.
And then he added a shady line, “Bad belle no dey progress.”
Timaya housed me wen Eme kicked me out..gave me his pent hous 2 stay das where I recorded most of my debut album…bad belle no dey progress

While his comment is coming at a time Timaya is feuding with Eedris Abdulkareem, it also puts Skales in a different light as many people see his comment as a shot targeting his former boss Banky W, especially since this came just days after he revealed that YBNL boss Olamide funded the music video of his hit single, Shake Body.
But Skales insisted that this is no shade.
“Na me and EME are in good terms …but that’s wat really happened till God changed my story,” he told one fan, and to another, he said, “Me and @BankyW are Kool …. na my big bro.”
